Following the Notre Dame Spirit and Truth Award given to Lynn in 2002 recognizing his contributions to the field of liturgical music, and with the ND spirit of his alma mater, he initiated an endowment fund for an incoming undergraduate student in organ/sacred music at the University of Notre Dame.

Dr. Lynn Trapp Music Scholarship, Perryville High School
Perryville, MO

This annual scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior at Perryville High School who is college bound with a major in music and meets the  academic, community service, and financial need requirements of the scholarship.  A public recital by the recipient is performed in Perryville before entering the first semester of college study.  Trapp is a 1981 graduate of PHS.

Dr. Lynn Trapp Fund for Worship, Music and Sacred Arts, St. Olaf Catholic Church
Minneapolis, MN

As founder of the annual Worship and Sacred Music Series at St. Olaf Church, Lynn established a fund to insure quality programming of events under the banner of the Series including one major event each year featuring the Lively-Fulcher pipe organ.
